RECOGNITIONS
Some of the more significant recognitions related to the CDE and the EEE included:
- 2009 – 2022 Over 50 idea and business plans competition winners (including Sam Walton Business Plan Competition Award, Enterprize, Global Entrepreneurs, NIBS, Inter Tiger Venture Competition, University Challenge, Entrepreneurial Olympics, Banco Santander’s Premio Empresarial,)
- 2009 – 2022 11 awards received by the student entrepreneurial association including the most distinguished student association award at Metropolitan Campus
- 2009 to 2022 - Internships (18 EEE students have been awarded with (10) local, (6) national and (2) international internships)
- 2010 - Outstanding Young Persons of the World 2010 TOYP award (awarded to Myraida Anderson’s work with the initiative The Family Tree initiative.
- 2012 & 2016 - EEE students were selected to assist each one of the candidates running for Governor of PR during the Manufacturer Association of Puerto Rico Convention
- 2014, 2017, 2020-21 - Dr. Alex Rodriguez was recognized as one of the Metropolitan Campus distinguished professors
- 2015, 2016 & 2018 (Professors Alex Rodriguez, Freddy Medina, Edgar Lopategui, and CeDIn teacher Yadira Vazquez are the only Puerto Ricans to receive the prestigious Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise Education
- 2016 - Dr. Alex Rodriguez was recognized for his entrepreneurial
- 2017 - The Team 10 Metro was recognized for their entrepreneurial impact in the Campus and Puerto Rico

- 2019 - Dr. Alex Rodriguez was recognized as one of Echar Palante’s Pillars of Entrepreneurship in Puerto Rico
