Agreements
One of the main goals at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico is to establish and maintain international agreements. These academic and professional ties foster tolerance, respect, and integration among different cultures and regions all over the world. The exchange programs, internships, and research projects allow both local and foreign students to get in contact with a great variety of languages, cultures, and environments. These international experiences constitute a great addition to the academic and professional path of the students but also expand their personal, emotional, and intellectual horizons with the ultimate goal of building a more integrated, pacific, and unified world.

El 19 de mayo de 2011 recibimos la visita de la Prof. Lauren Nehlsen, Directora del Programa de Estudios Internacionales, así como el Prof. Abraham Martínez, Profesor de Español (Puertorriqueño), quienes vinieron al Recinto para ver nuestras facilidades con la intención de establecer un acuerdo de colaboración académica entre ambas instituciones.
On May 19, 2011 we received the visit of Prof. Lauren Nehlsen, Director of the International Studies Program, and Prof. Abraham Martínez, Spanish Professor (Puerto Rican), who came to our Campus to see our premises with the intention of the establishment of a collaborative agreement between both institutions.

El 18 de marzo de 2011 recibimos la visita del Rector de la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV), el Dr. Iñaqui Goirizelaia, quien vino a Puerto Rico a firmar el protocolo de renovación del acuerdo colaborativo entre ambas instituciones.
On March 18, 2011 we received the visit of the Chancellor of the University of País Vasco (UPV), Dr. Iñaqui Goirizelaia, who came to Puerto Rico for the renewal of the collaborative agreement between both institutions.

El 17 de febrero de 2011 recibimos la visita de la Prof. Suzette Santana y dos profesoras de State University of New York, quienes vinieron a nuestro Recinto a observar el curso Historical Process of Puerto Rico (GEHS 2010) que dicta el Dr. Armando Martí. La profesora Santana, expresó su interés en traer estudiantes para tomar cursos intensivos de inmersión en el idioma Español durante la temporada de verano.
On February 17, 2011 we received the visit of Prof. Suzette Santana and two professors of the State University of New York, who came to our Campus to attend to the Historical Process of Puerto Rico course (GEHS 2010) lectured by Dr. Armando Martí. Professor Santana expressed her interest to bring students to attend to Spanish courses during the Summer session.
