Nuestro departamento tiene un enfoque interdisciplinario-ecuménico que enfatiza el análisis de los fundamentos teológicos del cristiano y el papel esencial que juegan en la formación de los valores éticos, y además mantiene una oferta y programas académicos de excelencia y de vanguardia, con énfasis en la investigación, la aplicación de los conocimientos a la teología como herramientas para la solución de problemas.
Entre nuestras metas, se encuentra que el estudiante conozca la estructura social, económica, política, cultural y religiosa de toda América desde la perspectiva histórica. Nuestro currículo está diseñado para responder a la cambiante realidad de un mundo globalizado.

Welcome to the Department of Theology and History
A cordial greeting on behalf of the Department of Theology and History and all its faculty. Our department has an interdisciplinary-ecumenical focus that emphasizes the analysis of the theological foundations of the Christian and the essential role they play in the formation of ethical values, and also maintains an excellent and cutting-edge academic offer and programs, with an emphasis on the research, the application of knowledge to theology as tools for problem-solving.
One of our goals is that the student knows the social, economic, political, cultural, and religious structure of all of America from a historical perspective. Our curriculum is designed to respond to the changing reality of a globalized world.
